Terms of Service (“TOS”)
Crystal Clean Cans (“we”, “us” or “our”)
Customer (“you” or “your”)


Crystal Clean Cans provides an on-site curbside residential cleaning services for municipally issued trash and recycling bins. Services are provided from March through October weather permitting.

We are currently servicing the following areas: City of Delafield, Dousman, Village of Hartland, City of Oconomowoc and Summit.

Note: We are unable to clean round homeowner owned garbage cans. If you schedule service and we arrive to round cans for a cleaning, you will forfeit your cleaning fees.

Customer Responsibilities

All trash and recycling cans will be cleaned same day or by the end of the following day of your trash pickup. Please leave your cans out to be cleaned. If your cans are not outside when we arrive to provide the service, we will skip your address and you will not be issued a refund.

If your cans will not be available for your scheduled cleaning, you must notify Crystal Clean Cans by 12:00 PM on the day prior to your scheduled cleaning or you will forfeit the scheduled cleaning on the plan you have subscribed.

All trash must be emptied from cans. If cans are not emptied, you will be responsible for an additional bagging fee. Trash will be removed, cans cleaned, and trash put back in cans.

No chemicals, paint, glue, adhesives, pet or hazardous waste of any kind shall be present in any bin to be cleaned.

If you fail to observe the conditions listed above, we have the right to refuse providing you with the Services, but you will still be responsible for all payments/fees relating. You may reschedule your Services but will be billed for an additional service visit.


You hereby acknowledge that you are responsible for the fees and charges for the Services to which you subscribe (the “Fees”). You are also responsible for all taxes and fees associated with the Services which we are legally required or permitted to collect from you. Crystal Clean Cans may, at any time, change the Fees in its sole discretion. Customers will be notified of any changes by email or Text. Your continued utilization of the Services, or failure to terminate your account with Crystal Clean Cans after being notified of the change in Fees, will be considered your acceptance of the modified Fees.

You may opt to provide a credit card (“Payment Method”), which Payment Method can be vaulted (saved) within our client portal. If you decline to provide a Payment Method, you will receive an invoice for Services which must be paid in advance. By providing a Payment Method, you authorize us to charge your Payment Method at the interval of your selected plan.

If the issuer of your credit cards does not remit payment to Crystal Cleans Cans, customer agrees to pay all amounts due upon demand by Crystal Clean Cans, including all fees relating to the delinquent payment.

Customer must notify Crystal Clean Cans of any changes to Customer’s Payment Method prior to the next billing cycle. A late fee of $20 will be added to any Fees that are more than 10 days past due.

Any customer account that is more than 30 days past due will be considered delinquent. Services for delinquent accounts will be suspended until the account balance has been restored to good standing.

Cancellation of Service

You must provide 30 day notice if you desire to cancel Services. Crystal Clean Cans will continue servicing your account for the plans (3) minimum cleaning commitment or the amount that has been prepaid. At no time will Crystal Clean Cans refund unused subscriptions fees. Once service obligation is complete, your plan will not be renewed.

Cleaning Plan Details

Monthly Cleaning Plan – Includes up to (2) cans. You agree to a minimum of 3 scheduled cleanings, payment for your first cleaning will be due upon booking and following payments will be due the first day of each following month. Monthly Cleaning plans automatically renew each month. To cancel your service, you must provide 30-day notice as set forth above.

Seasonal Cleaning Plan – Includes up to (2) cans. You agree to a minimum of 3 scheduled cleanings (spring/summer/fall). Payment will be due for your 1st cleaning upon booking. Automatic billing dates are March 1st, June 1st and September 1st. If you sign up in January, you will be billed upon booking for your March 1st cleaning. Seasonal cleaning plans will automatically renew after the 3-cleaning minimum. To cancel your service, you must provide 30-day notice as set forth above.

One-Time Cleaning – Includes up to (2) cans. One-time cleaning plan will be provided during the next scheduled route in your area. Payment for cleaning will be due upon booking. One-time cleanings cannot be cancelled or refunded once booked.

Express Cleaning – Includes up to (2) cans. Express Cleanings will be cleaned within 48 hours depending on availability. You must call us for this service at 262-804-0831 and submit a request for service. If there is trash in the cans there will be a $25 bagging fee. Can will be cleaned, and trash will be returned to cans. Express cleanings cannot be cancelled or refunded once booked.

For all above cleaning services, we cannot haul or depose of trash in cans.


Choice of Law Jurisdiction – This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin without regard to its choice of law rules. In the event of any dispute, the venue for any litigation shall be the Circuit Court of Waukesha County, Wisconsin.

Attorney’s Fees – In the event that either party is required to retain the services of an attorney to enforce this Agreement or to defend against any cause of action, claim, or counterclaim brought by the other party pursuant to this Agreement, then the prevailing party will be entitled to recover the attorney’s fees and costs which it has incurred, in addition to other remedies to which it is entitled under applicable law, unless the adjudicator specifically finds that neither party is the prevailing party.

Force Majeure – Other than obligations regarding payments, neither party shall be in default or otherwise liable for any delay or failure to perform under this Agreement if such delay or failure is caused by an event beyond its reasonable control, including, but not limited to, any act of God, act of a common enemy, the elements, earthquakes, floods, fires, epidemics or war.

Waiver – Any failure or delay in exercising any of the rights or powers given to us in this TOS shall not operate as a waiver of such right or power or affect our right to exercise the same or any other right at a later date.

Severability – Should any paragraph of this TOS be determined to be contrary to law, the remainder of the TOS shall be interpreted in such a manner as if the omitted portion had not been included.

Modification of Terms of Service – This TOS may be amended or revised at any time by Crystal Clean Cans by posting an amended and/or revised version of the same on our website (www.crystalcleancans.com) or delivering a copy of the amended or revised TOS to your email address of record. All amendments and/or revisions are intended to improve our ability to provide Services.
